Matt leads the design and implementation of the Verdence investment platform and Verdence/RIA+ with a special focus on structuring and negotiating unique private investments in private equity, private credit, real estate, and hedge fund strategies for qualified clients. Prior to Verdence, Matt served more than a decade at Fortigent and Fidelity providing RIAs, Family Offices, trust companies, and insurance companies with guidance on the structure of their investment platforms including asset allocation, manager selection, due diligence, product creation, investment content creation and business consulting oftentimes servicing in the role of Outsourced Chief Investment Officer.

Pete leads the business development effort at RIA+ working with independent wealth management firms nationwide to serve their clients better, to become more competitive when attracting new clients, and to help them focus on advancing their business. Peter spends a considerable part of his time on issues like continuity and succession planning, outsourcing investments, operations, and compliance as well as integrating private investments into RIA offerings. Prior to Verdence, Peter spent more than a decade working with independent wealth management firms at Pinnacle Advisor Solutions. And before that, Peter spent his career in institutional investment research and money management.
